We are called First Love because as a Christian Singles ministry, our 'first love' is the Lord, Jesus Christ. The Bible says this about the early church.  "And they continued steadfastly in the Apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers." Acts 2:42

I believe everyone who attends church here at Calvary Chapel already receives great Bible teaching. First Love is to provide fellowship, the breaking of bread and ministering to one another in prayers. 

Single people as much as anybody need to fellowship, build on relationships and pray for each other. God created us to love and to be loved by others, to fellowship with one another and to be there for each other.
